Experience Kudhva

Kudhva is more than just a holiday destination. From cooking food in the communal kitchen to sharing stories around our large campfire, your stay will be complemented by like-minded visitors, all there to enjoy and immerse themselves within our expansive site, making the most of everything it has to offer.

Our rugged clay track sets the tone as you arrive. Rough around the edges but charming from the outset, you’ll wind your way up to our reception building, set amongst the trees, which houses the kitchen and the long communal dinner table. It’s also where you’ll find the hot showers, the flushing toilets, and the plug sockets – the only place where you’ll be able to charge your phone throughout your stay, because we’re off-grid and proudly so.

Here you’re encouraged to meet fellow guests, chat to our friendly staff, and build long-lasting connections with both, as you step out of the daily grind and step into the world of Kudhva…

Kudhva

Waterfall

Our waterfall is hidden deep amongst the landscape of our lush 43 acre site here at Kudhva. It runs into a beautiful, secluded reservoir that even has its own climbing wall. Wild water mint grows upon its surface and who knows what might lie beneath… It’s not easy to get to, but for the adventurous traveller it’s a secret space that’s worth the effort. Guests are certainly welcome to visit and enjoy the waterfall, but do so at their own risk.

Dining

In or Out

You’re welcome to use our fully equipped shared kitchen as you wish – it has everything you need. For cooking, there are two gas burners and enough pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for everyone. We have fridges with different compartments reserved for each accommodation, and we have a selection of herbal teas and Yallah coffee available for you to enjoy, as well as our small shop area selling hand-picked lifestyle and locally-sourced food items.

Each accommodation has access to a fire pit nearby, as well as our larger fire pits in the communal areas. All our cast iron pots and pans can be used on the fires, to great effect! In fact, if you book yourself a breakfast hamper for your stay, we highly recommend cooking over fire to enhance the outdoor living experience (as well as the taste and smell of the food of course…). To book your hamper, simply add it to your basket when booking.

We regularly host reputable guest chefs, big breakfast pop ups, or sumptuous long table feasts, so please join our mailing list or keep an eye on our events page for information and tickets.

We’re also surrounded by some incredible restaurants, and we’re within only one mile of the local Pub. Be sure to check out: The Port William, The Rocket Store, Temple, Pilchards, Mexi Kernow, Coombeshead, Nathan Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen.

Beaches

Kudhva is located in one of Cornwall’s designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is just a short walk away from the rugged North Cornish coastline. From there, to the north and south, you’ll find some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in the world. This area is famous for its rolling coastal hikes and excellent surfing conditions, but offers plenty more for those seeking adventurer, including kayaking, caving, coasteering and rock climbing, which are all popular pursuits in this area. Our local beach, Trebarwith Strand, has lifeguard cover throughout the summer, with almost a kilometre of prime sandy beach to be enjoyed at low tide.
