Our Spaces
Our famous Kudhva cabins are unique, treehouse-like structures which stand a good distance above the ground, offering you a different perspective of the surrounding landscape. Inside you’ll find a comfortable two-person mezzanine bunk with ample seating beneath, from which you can enjoy a view of Kudhva’s woodland canopy or the Cornish coast from the large windows. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, write, or just listen.
The Tipis (or TPs as we like to call them) sit prominently upon the hillside, facing toward the Atlantic Ocean, and enjoy some of the best views in the house. Simple but supremely comfortable, our tipis are a great way to enjoy the sounds of the surrounding nature from within their warm and protective canvas walls.
The Danish Cabin is truly one of a kind. It’s a 1:3 replica of our iconic Engine House, that sits above our waterfall, tucked away amidst the woods, with views toward the old slate quarry beyond.

Explore The Site
Kudhva can be found where the land meets the sea, nestled across a hilltop and upon the workings of an old slate quarry, a remnant of the county’s industrial past, since given over to nature and now a maintained and managed corner of Cornwall that makes for a perfect, secluded hideaway. A space that’s certainly off the beaten path, but close enough to it should you need to get back on it.
The site has plenty to discover for the adventurous wanderer, including a wild swimming lake, a waterfall, a climbing wall and a hot tub. It’s also just a short walk from the mighty North Cornish coast, known for its raw natural beauty, rugged cliffs, secluded beaches and sublime sunsets. There are plenty of local amenities for the active too, with surfing, kayaking, coasteering and rock climbing all popular pursuits in this area.
